The All-Father has brought down a blessing upon you, starting at Saturday 12 AM PST, for one week, all players will be deigned the ability to shapeshift into other classes!
Our goal is to test the recent balance fixes that have been applied to Kitaras. Please enjoy our latest work!

Couple questions.
A) So the event begins Saturday, the 13th?
B) I've never participated in a shape shift event (If i have it's been years)
Will there be a script on the website to change back and forth accordingly or an ingame command? If the latter, what is the command?
C) Will we be allowed to change to other characters besides Kitara?
and finally...
D) Will there be free resets (Kit is spirit based, I am not)? Again, script on the website? Or will we have to facilitate our own reset?
In hindsight, I suppose D is irrelevant, I guess when you shift your stats reset?
Thanks again, hopefully the answers to the above will sort out some confusion that myself and other players new to shapeshift event may be facing.
Thanks

By the way, good job devs on making the changes, allowing a test period, and hopefully soon a successful implementation. This post was edited by Fluke (2010-02-08 04:53 GMT, 211 days ago) |

Fluke,
You will log out of your character and account as you log into the website to shapeshift. Upon shapeshifting your stats will be reset; logout in a safe area. All playable characters will be accessible.

Thanks for the speedy answer.

I was just thinking. What about honor change?
Post Joined: 9 minutes
Sorry to be continually posting. But personally i'm interested in testing the Kit. Im sure people would be more inclined to want to test her if there was an easy way to honor change.
Either script on the site, honor change maps in the studio (easy to implement?) or perhaps sending out batches of red shaded amnesia greens that would only last a week, maybe some batches of stars and stockings. Or just the one, we don't need hundreds of christmas trees popping up all over the place.
Anyway, if a method of honor change isn't already included in the event I hope you take these ideas into consideration.
thanks again This post was edited by Fluke (2010-02-08 06:46 GMT, 211 days ago) |

I agree with Fluke.
Spending 4 hours to do an honor change just isn't fun |

Yep, that is correct. Usually you will be given the option of what color of honor you would want. |

4 hours?! good god.. takes me 50 minutes
Either way, like Martyr said there will be an option to pick which honor each time you shift.

Actually, since Kit is now balanced.... how about balancing Azlar as well??
I've been using both chars recently and the difference is stunning.
Ice storm always misses and has crap range. Hellfire has a much larger range and always hits.
Both seem to be of equal strength. |

Yeah it does miss! Like in a big mob.... I run in and cast ice storm and but there will always be 1 or 2 at the periphery that don't get hit...i used to think it was a range thing... but hmmm, sometimes those that are further get hit while those that are nearer do not.
For Ice storm, it seems to mostly hit monsters that 'sense' you... i.e. monsters that attack/are going to/ are thinking of attacking you. Of course, it also hits monsters that are within close range.
For Hellfire, it just hits everything. |

As weird as he sounds right now, I almost have to agree with him. On several occasions, I've had two monsters standing right next to each other and only hit one. But.. I think it has to do with IS's wonky range.
Its noyance of your character. All characters have em. Deal with em. |

Azlar is a great to get lvls 1-800 but after that their pvp weakens. |
